The legal system before independence didn’t provide complete justice to Indian citizens. But somehow it gave a raw structure of how a proper legal administrative system should be formed. After India gained independence the legal system played a very prominent role in the reinforcement of the constitution. Before independence, the Legal Practitioners Act, 1846 was introduced which liberated any person with a proper legal education to be eligible to participate in court. After independence, many acts and provisions were in order to introduce a proper legislative, executive and judicial system.
