Hard water spots on glass panels and doors are common. A vinegar and baking soda solution can easily remove these spots. Simply spray the vinegar mixture onto the glass and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes before scrubbing it. Mold growth can also cause discoloration in the silicone seal around your shower. The same solution as for hard water spots will also work for mold- and mildew-prone silicone. In extreme cases, you may have to reseal your shower with a new seal of silicone.
