India\’s Freedom Struggle: A Journey to Self-Independence

Indian leaders such as Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Bipin Chandra Pal, and Lala Lajpat Rai gave a call for wanting self-governance. This was in 1915 when Mahatma Gandhi revealed Satyagraha which turned into a fresh spur for the freedom movement. Large-scale actions such as the 1917 Champaran Satyagraha and the 1930 Dandi March for Freedom put together tens of millions of people. This act was done in the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh incident which led to the Non-Cooperation Movement among Indians. As the ‘Do or Die’ motto pedaled with the Quit India Movement of 1942, India finally got its freedom on August 15, 1947.
